In brief

The Poultry Quality Union, established by the Gütegemeinschaft Ernährung GmbH (GGE), stands for a unique, closed-loop quality assurance system which is supported and promoted by the business community, scientific institutions and animal welfare organisations.

 

The GGE concept is based on a strict list of criteria under which poultry breeders and fatteners have to produce their geese and ducks.

 

The requirements start with the rearing of fattening animals and extend via production to the sale of poultry (fresh and frozen goods) and poultry cuts to the consumer.
