All establishments which join the Gütegemeinschaft Ernährung (GGE) system undertake to comply with strict criteria and to gain certification. The GGE system includes the consistent and continuous monitoring of feed and henhouse/pen/hutch hygiene, especially in-house hygiene management.

 

Independent inspection bodies continually monitor the production and processing establishments. This includes residue testing.

 

The result is uniform rearing, production and marketing standards.
